After installingSP1 to Win7 home premium it caused boxes to cover my desktop icons. Is ther any way to get rid of the boxes

Hi, Please logon with Safe Mode or Clean Boot to see if the same issue occurs. Update the driver of VGA card. Also try to clear thumbnails cache: 1 Click Start , click All Programs, click Accessories, click System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup. 2 If you are prompted, click My files only. 3 In the Files to delete list, click to select Thumbnails. 4 Note Configure other options that you want. 5 Click OK, and then click Delete files.
